My deviantART Story
I got my deviantart account on the very night that I turned 13. I was a goody two shoes kid that never lied about her age on the web, so it was then and only then that I considered registering myself for an account.
I'd had my eyes on the website for a long time, starting ironically at overnight camp without any access whatsoever to the internet. I went to a visual arts unit in the camp I was in, and learned that 3 of my close friends had accounts on the website. So, to keep in touch in word and art I desperately wanted to join. But, they were only the catalyst of my connection to this website.
Once I came back home and started looking

My First Commissioned Work!
Super excited today because I have received my first commission!
My friend's mom is a piano teacher. She's been using clip art for her recital programs for a while now(20 years) and wanted to change it up. She asked my friend to find another friend with art skills to make 4-5 piano stuffs. I just happened to be the first one asked that wanted the job.
So... Granted I wasn't sought out for the job, nor am I getting paid much, I still get 20 bucks and my first commission! YAY I GET PAID FOR SOMETHING!
